For eight consecutive years, the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom has secured the top position in the Times Higher Education (THE) ranking. The 2024 edition of the rankings encompasses 1,904 universities spanning 108 countries and regions. In this year’s evaluation, over 134 million citations from 16.5 million research publications were analyzed. Additionally, the ranking incorporated feedback from 68,402 scholars worldwide. Among the top-ranking universities in the United Kingdom, the University of Oxford stands out, maintaining its prominent position.
